Binnen deelgebied I zou volgens het vooronderzoek een intacte podzolbodem aanwezig zijn, maar het huidige onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat de bodem inmiddels diep is verstoord. Een eventuele vuursteenvindplaats binnen deelgebied I zal dusdanig sterk zijn aangetast dat de inhoudelijke kwaliteit laag zal zijn.
