This dataset contains email transcripts with Latvian LGBTIQ organizations and their representatives, and a summary of the conversation with a representative of the Latvian LGBTIQ organization. Communication was conducted between March 3, 2026, and April 9, 2026. The subject of conversation was regarding hate speech against LGBTIQ people in Latvia that also included broader observations regarding situation in Latvia regarding LGBTIQ community. The primary objective was to receive observations and viewpoints of Latvian LGBTIQ organizations regarding hate speech against LGBTIQ people in Latvia. The paper includes observations and views of the following Latvian LGBTIQ organizations: Latvian Transgender Association "Transformācija"; Latvian bisexual (B+) community movement "Neons"; Association of LGBT and their friends "Mozaīka". The paper contains original transcripts and conversation summary in Latvian and an English translation of the materials.
