The Swiss Volunteering Survey 2025 provides information on the current status of voluntary work. In Switzerland, volunteering for the benefit of people, society and the environment is regularly examined on the basis of a nationwide survey. The volunteering survey highlights trends and developments in voluntary work and provides an important basis for the management of volunteers in foundations, associations and clubs, in aid organizations and churches, as well as in cities and municipalities. At the same time, the development of volunteerism shown by the surveys is an indicator of the vitality of social relationships and welfare orientations in Switzerland. The promotion of social cohesion and volunteerism is the core task of the Swiss Society for the Common Good (SSCG). The SSCG initiated the Swiss Volunteering Survey around 20 years ago and publishes it every four to five years.

Der Freiwilligen-Monitor Schweiz 2025 informiert über den aktuellen Stand des freiwilligen Engagements. In der Schweiz wird der freiwillige Einsatz zum Wohl von Mensch, Gesellschaft und Umwelt mit einer landesweiten Befragung regelmässig erforscht. Der Freiwilligen-Monitor zeigt Trends und Entwicklungen der Freiwilligenarbeit auf und bietet wichtige Grundlagen für das Freiwilligen-Management in Stiftungen, Verbänden und Vereinen, in Hilfswerken und kirchlichen Organisationen sowie in den Städten und Gemeinden. Die im Monitor aufgezeigte Entwicklung des freiwilligen Engagements ist gleichzeitig ein Gradmesser für die Lebendigkeit sozialer Beziehungen und die Gemeinwohlorientierung in der Schweiz. Die Förderung des gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalts und des freiwilligen Engagements bilden die Kernaufgaben der Schweizerischen Gemeinnützigen Gesellschaft (SGG). Die SGG hat den Freiwilligen-Monitor Schweiz vor rund 20 Jahren initiiert und gibt ihn alle vier bis fünf Jahre heraus.
