2D multichannel seismic reflection processed data (working area dataset) of RV METEOR during cruise M155, offshore Fogo, North Atlantic Ocean

DOI

The 2D multichannel seismic reflection data were recorded in 2019 during Meteor cruise M155 offshore Fogo, Cape Verde. This dataset contains profiles P301, P701, P801, P806 and P810. The data were acquired using two GI-guns (2x1.7 L volume each) using a digital Geometrics GeoEel streamer with 96 – 112 channels and a channel spacing of 1.5625 m. The data are filtered, normal-moveout-corrected, stacked, and migrated. The aim of the cruise was to explore the submarine landslide associated with the Monte Amarelo flank collapse. The seismic profiles show the extent and internal structure of the Monte Amarelo debris avalanche deposit.
