This dataset includes georeferenced data relevant to four Mediterranean gorgonians Eunicella singularis, Eunicella cavolini, Paramuricea clavata, and Corallium rubrum. It was used to model their habitat suitability index and uncertainty within the Mediterranean shallow and mesophotic depths (< 150 m) together with environmental predictors selected according to their potential relevance for the ecology of these species.
