This tool presents a selection of competences that are relevant for societal impact. The content is presented as a non-exhaustive list of competences that academics can develop for impact-oriented academic activities. Alongside each competence and its definition, we highlight its relevance to societal impact and suggest potential assessment indicators.
This tool is part of a trilogy. Each tool focusses on different components of how staff can be impactful. This tool serves as a reflective tool on how to build an impactful careers and impact identities, the Impact Competences Catalogue shares relevant impactful competences and the Impact Activities Catalogue on impactful activities.
