'(Re)counting the Uncounted': Documentation and Instructions

This dataset contains documentation for the NWO-funded Replication Study '(Re)counting the Uncounted. Replication and Contextualisation of Dutch and Belgian Premodern Population Estimates (1350-1800)'.

The data of the '(Re)counting the Uncounted' project is structured as follows: Catalogue and typology of premodern censuses in the Low Countries: hdl:10622/4FWVNL. Repository of digitised premodern censuses: hdl:10622/E5BC1Y. Links between census observations and historical GIS boundaries: hdl:10622/9ZTT0C.

As the database grows further over the next year, this documentation will also include replication instructions to replicate our work.
