Investigation of structure and aggregation effects in conjugated polymers

DOI

We wish to look at the structure of polymers used in the field of organic electronics, these structures . Specifically we will look at the time evolution of light emitting conjugated polymers with the principle aim of understanding the link between the luminesence properties of these materials and physical structure. The techniques of SANS and SESANS will enable us to probe a heirarchy of length scales.
