This data set was collected by José Antolín Nieto Sánchez from several sources and published in EL TALLER DE LA HISTORIA, vol. 6, n.º 6, 2014, pp. 19 - 77. This paper analyses the labour disputes held by Spanish artisans during the early-modern age. Questioning the view which understands these disputes as being mediated by those which took place within the managerial establishment of the royal factories, this study demonstrates that labour disputes in urban work-shops occurred between the workers and their masters due to the implementation of changes in the production process, or the deterioration of labour conditions.
