Our neutron study using MARI/MERLIN on Ce(Ru1-xFex) 2Al10 reveals very interesting magnetic excitations and a manuscript is ready to submit to PRB. In x=0 (TN=27 K) a Q-independent spin gap of 8 meV has been observed. x=0.3 and 0.5 (TN~27 K) samples reveal two spin gap type excitations near 8 meV and 12 meV. More interestingly, x=0.8 sample, which remains paramagnetic down to 50 mK reveals a clear spin gap of 10-12 meV, with strong Q-dependent intensity that follows spin-dimer structure factor. The observation of a spin gap in nonmagnetic sample opens a question what is its origin, spin-dimer or a gap opening on a small part of the Fermi surface. Our bulk study on Ce(Os1-xFex)2Al10 also reveals very similar behaviour to that of the (RuFe) system, but nonmagnetic ground state at x=0.6. We therefore propose to investigate the spin gap in Ce(Os1-xFex)2Al10 (x=0.3, 0.6 and 0.8).
