Cross-generational responses of a foraminfera (Marginopora vertebralis) microbiome to future projected climate scenarios

This study investigated the response of the microbiome of adults Marginopora vertebralis (large photosymbiont-bearing foraminifera) to short-term exposure of oceanic conditions (temperature and pH) predicted for 2050 and 2100, as well as the response of the microbiome of juveniles of the same species raised under present day or 2050 conditions.
