Het pand Bokt 18 heeft sinds 1994 de status van gemeentelijk monument. De bouwhistorische opname had tot doel inzicht te geven in de bouwhistorische waarde van de voormalige boerderij. De bouwtechnische staat van het pand leverde wel wat beperkingen op, maar dit had verder geen consequenties voor de waardering en waardenstellingen.
