Microbiome communities in the digestive system of four fish species

The aquaculture industry is in the early stages of implementing microbiome manipulation in order to improve various production factors. However, the knowledge about the complex dynamics of the gastrointestinal microbiome in fish is limited.</p><p>This study provides further insight into the microbiome compositions of various financially important fish species. In addition, it contributes to an understanding of the effects of external factors on the microbial community in the digestive system of fish.
