Bacteriological pollution in the Black Sea coastal waters after the destruction of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant Dam by russian army

The destruction of Nova Kakhovka Hydropower Plant (KHPP) Dam by the russian military activities lead to a release of water contaminated with pollutants, nutrients and pathogens to the Black Sea. The present study invesigates the bacteriological pollution of marine waters at different proximity from the Dnipro-Bug estuary, namely the microbial community taxonomic structure and antibiotic resistance dissemination.
