Short range static and thermal disorder in glasses and crystals

DOI

We seek to use the temperature-dependence of the neutron correlation function to investigate the extent of static disorder in glasses and crystals, and also to investigate the validity of current theory about the effect of correlated motion on the thermal parameters for the peaks in a neutron correlation function.
