Data contain individual differences regarding the creative ability and inner speaking; and self-reported data related to uncertainty, inner speaking, and creativity experienced during three idea generation tasks. All data are (aggregates of) Likert scales. Materials and the analysis script are also included. The data were collected to explore how self-regulatory inner speaking relates to uncertainty during idea generation.
