Toward an explanatory parameter space for sediment trapping in estuaries

In the context of the CAPTURE project, idealized numerical simulations have been carried out with the width-averaged modeling framework iFlow v3.0. These numerical simulations aim at investigating the generation of ETM inside a wide range of schematic M2 dominant estuary configurations by varying estuarine parameters (the length of the estuary, the bed roughness, the river discharge and the tidal amplitude). This deposit contains the simulation files used in a paper entitled "Toward an explanatory parameter space for sediment trapping in estuaries" by Sophie Defontaine, Yoeri M. Dijkstra and Florent Grasso, and submitted to JGR-Earth Surface.
