Bacterial Community composition of the endolithic Microbiome of Menorca, Spain

Endolithic microbiomes have not be extensively surveyed using high-throughput sequencing techniques. The goal of this study was to examine the microbial composition of the carbonate endolithic microbiome from samples from coastal regions of Menorca, Spain. The study expands on our knowledge of the diverse and complex microbial composition of carbonate endolithic microbiomes.
