This dataset includes the manipulation (Rumination Induction) procedure, answers to a Rumination Inventory, responses to the Thinking Component of the Dundee Stress State Questionnaire (which assesses Mind Wandering), eye tracking, and pitch and lexical data recorded during a word association task. There are both word files, and SPSS data syntax and output files.

DSA proof. - Participants came into the lab, signed a consent form, and filled out a questionnaire assessing their ruminative traits (the Rumination Inventory). They then underwent either a manipulation or control (rumination induction) procedure, and played a word association game with an Embodied Conversational Agent, during which their eye movements, lexical associations, and pitch were recorded. Finally they filled out the Thinking Component of the Dundee Stress State Questionnaire (which assesses Mind Wandering) and the Rumination Inventory once again.
