ERC Artsoundscapes project – Acoustic measurements at Palomas I

Data collected in the framework of the ERC project "The sound of special places: exploring rock art soundscapes and the sacred" (acronym: Artsoundscapes, Grant Agreement No. 787842). The project focuses on the relationship between archaeoacoustics and rock art. The audio files are the impulse responses in different formats gathered in the Palomas I cave in Facinas (Tarifa, Cádiz, Spain) and some auralization examples. The tables include the acoustic data derived from those impulse responses.

Primary data included in this Dataset is discussed on a conference paper entitled “Acústica de recintos prehistóricos: estudio arqueoacústico de Palomas I”. Raw recordings and other formats of impulse responses are also available on request.
