Op 21 augustus en een aantal dagen in november (1, 5, 9, 12, 13, 15 en 19) 2012 heeft BAAC bv (onderzoeks- en adviesbureau voor Bouwhistorie, Archeologie, Architectuur- en Cultuurhistorie) te ’s Hertogenbosch een archeologische begeleiding protocol proefsleuven en opgraven uitgevoerd in het plangebied Panoven 19 en 21 te IJsselstein, in de gelijknamige gemeente. De aanleiding voor het onderzoek is de geplande nieuwbouw waardoor eventueel aanwezige archeologische waarden verloren gaan.
