Litterfall chemistry data of the LTER station Zöbelboden from the years 1993 to 2011, https://deims.org/8eda49e9-1f4e-4f3e-b58e-e0bb25dc32a6

Litter was collected at each intensive monitoring plot (abbreviation in column SCODE = 300 = IP1, 700 = IP2 and 2900 = IP3) with 15 regularly distributed litterfall samplers each covering an area of 0.5 m2. From 2006-2009, 17 samplers were used at IP1 (SCODE = 340). Sampling was conducted monthly (± one week) during the snow-free season (generally from May to October). Beech (MEDIUM = FAGU SYL) and spruce (MEDIUM = PICE ABI) correspond to the tree species nearby the litterfall samplers.
