Bouwhistorische verkenning van het woonhuis aan de Hortensiastraat 7 in de wijk Assendorp. Het object werd in 1933-1934 gebouwd als onderdeel van een woningbouwcomplex aan het begin van de Hortensiastraat (nummer 1 tot 15 en 17 tot 29) en omhoekend naar de Deventerstraatweg. De woningen zijn ontworpen door architect Cornelis Jacobus Vriens (1897-1967).
