Animation from Approximate Explicit Model Predictive Control for EMS-type Maglev Vehicles

The provided animation visualizes an exemplary simulation result, applying approximate explicit model predictive control (aeMPC) to a simulation model of a 2D cross section model of the magnetic levitation vehicle Transrapid. Besides the animation, additional signals of interest are plotted, i.e., the excitation of the guideway element in vertical direction, the obtained air gap signals for both levitation magnets, and the input voltage returned from the levitation magnets' aeMPC algorithms. The vehicle is simulated with a speed of 430 km/h and travels over a typical uneven guideway profile.
