Het poortgebouw van de oude kazerne Saksen Weimar wordt verbouwd tot zorgvilla met twee vleugels van elk ongeveer 18 appartementen. De bouwstijl van het poortgebouw, dat tussen 1938 en 1940 is gerealiseerd, is een zakelijk expressieve mengstijl.
