This dataset contains the responses of an online expert survey on municipal land-use planning regulations governing buildings and open and green spaces across 30 European countries. Using purposive sampling, 73 planning experts – practitioners and academics – rated the priority they assign to thirteen groups of regulations (seven for buildings, six for open and green spaces) and assessed to which extent does each regulation group pursues the objectives of efficiency equity. The survey was administered online between August and December 2023. The dataset is the quantitative companion to the expert-interview dataset on discretion in land-use planning (doi:10.16904/envidat.785).
