The aim of this project is to explore novel transcriptomes for four adult cerianthid species (Ceriantheopsis americana, Ceriantheomorphe brasiliensis, Isarachnanthus nocturnus, and Pachycerianthus cf. maua) and determine putative venom-like gene candidates across each using a combination of published and customized annotation pipelines.</p><p>Tissues from adult tentacles were used in the construction of these libraries.
