Characteristics, elevations and ages of 72 in situ Porites microatolls collected from five islands in French Polynesia. Delta modern-fossil represents the difference in elevation between modern and Holocene microatolls at the same study site and in a similar environment (maximum vertical error is of ± 2 cm). NGPF = altimetric reference of French Polynesia. The elevations are not corrected for uplift or subsidence. Error values for ages and elevations are 2-sigma. Uncertainties for measured elevations related to NGPF are ± 14 cm for microatolls from Bora Bora, Maupiti and Tikehau; ± 22 cm for samples from Rangiroa and Tahaa. Uncertainties for estimated elevations are ± 10 cm for Delta modern-fossil and ± 22 cm for NGPF elevations. Samples BOB-52/-224 and TIK-86/-87 are from the same microatoll, respectively.
