X-ray fluorescence (XRF) scannings of sediment core MK08-3A

DOI

Scanning-data was collected using MARUM XRF Core Scanner II (AVAATECH Serial No. 2) equipped with an Oxford Instruments 50W XTF5011 rhodium X-Ray tube, a Canberra X-PIPS Silicon Drift Detector (SDD; Model SXD 15C-150-500) run at a 150eV resolution and a Canberra Digital Spectrum Analyzer DAS 1000 at the MARUM-University of Bremen. The depth resolution was 1 cm (1.2 cm2, 1mm slit size) with two generator settings (30kV, 1mA, 20s; 10kV, 0.2kV, 20s) for detection of different elemental groups.
