The Magnetic Behaviour of LaCo0.75Mn0.25O3

Significant numbers of studies have been performed on the cobaltate and manganate perovskite systems. These are as a result of complex competition between lattice, charge, spin and orbital degrees of freedom which give rise to a multitude of interesting electronic and magnetic properties. This proposal is to look at the unusual magnetic behaviour of one such material LaCo0.75Mn0.25O3 and we will use muons to probe the local magnetic behaviouor.
