Heat transfer data of a horizontal turbulent tube flow of GaInSn with azimuthal inhomogeneous heat flux with focus on mixed convection

Dieser Beitrag enthält experimentelle Wärmeübertragungsdaten für eine turbulente Rohrströmung der Flüssigmetalllegierung GaInSn. Das horizontale Rohr wird azimutal inhomogen beheizt und es werden vier verschiedene Orientierungen des Wärmestroms im Vergleich zur Erdbeschleunigung untersucht. Die Reynoldszahl der Strömung wird im Bereich von $8 \cdot 10^{3} < \mathrm{Re} < 1 \cdot 10^{5}$ variiert.

This contribution provides experimental heat transfer data for a turbulent tube flow of the liquid metal alloy GaInSn. The horizontal tube is azimuthally inhomogeneous heated and four different orientations of the heat flux compared to the gravitational acceleration are examined. The Reynolds number of the flow is varied in the range of $8 \cdot 10^{3} < \mathrm{Re} < 1 \cdot 10^{5}$.
