Intensive observation period wind measurements (IOP) from ANDroMeDA measurement UAV at the WINSENT test site

DOI

The data was acquired at the WINSENT test site in the wake of the turbines on the 31.03.2025. The dataset consists of two UAV (uav2/uav4) that were flying behind each other at multiple heights in the wake of the northern turbine.

Data-Format: time_utc,U [m/s],V [m/s],W [m/s],Multi_Sensor_Wind_Speed [m/s],Wind Direction [°],Height to Ground [m],Height AMSL [m],Latitude [],Longitude []

Data-Description: time_utc: Timestamp, UTC+0 U [m/s]: Windspeed in U Direction of the local UAV coordinate system V [m/s]: Windspeed in V Direction of the local UAV coordinate system W [m/s]: Windspeed in W Direction of the local UAV coordinate system Multi_Sensor_Wind_Speed [m/s]: Processed wind speed through a combination of the hot wire anemometry and the prandtl tube Wind Direction [°]: Global Wind Direction (N:0°,E:90°,S:180°,W:270°) Height to Ground [m]: Height to starting point close to the measurement location Height AMSL [m]: Height above mean sea level Latitude []: Degrees North Longitude []: Degrees East
