Aureobasidium pullulans Genome sequencing and assembly of 50 environmental strains

Aureobasidium pullulans is a ubiquitous polyextremotolerant black yeast. Fifty environmental isolates were genome sequenced to investigate the population structure and evidence for recombination in the species and to facilitate future use of new strains of this biotechnologically important yeast.
