Research Project: Journalism in Transition (SUF edition)

DOI

In this survey, 322 people in the Salzburg area were interviewed in 2015 about their current usage habits, their attitudes toward journalism, and its transformation, using face-to-face surveys. The participants were recruited at relevant publicly accessible hotspots (shopping centers, train stations, public recreational areas, etc.). In addition to collecting sociodemographic data, the survey primarily included questions on media usage: consumed media, duration of use, as well as preferred thematic content. These blocks were complemented by attitudinal and opinion questions on journalism in general.
