CALeDNA 2017 California coast, forest, and shrubland sampling

Coastal, shrubland, and forest samples for environmental DNA investigation of total biodiversity profiles using metabarcoding. Samples of surface soil and sediments were collected by citizen and community scientists in March-June 2017 for the California Environmental DNA Program (CALeDNA). CALeDNA maintains these sample collections and they are available as a research resource.
