Non-reciprocal effects in left andright handed langasite – Determining bulk crystallographic chirality with polarised neutrons

The proposal aims to measure the bulk structural chirality of two single crystals of iron langasite. The ultimate aim is to measure non reciprocal spin waves in both samples to confirm the role that structural chirality plays after establishing the chirality. The proposal request 2 days of time at ambient conditions on D3.
