This data collection includes raw data from Fabric Analyser (G50, Russell-Head Instruments) and processed data for vertical and horizontal thin sections from the polar ice core EGRIP. The data were acquired in the field camp during field seasons 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023. The thin section data provide information on the crystal-preferred orientation (CPO) throughout the Northeast Greenland Ice Stream (NEGIS) to bedrock, and allow to investigate the link between CPO and the ice stream dynamics.
