The Survey of Public Attitudes Towards Forestry in Ireland was conducted by the Economic and Social Research Institute in Summer 1998 on behalf of the Department of Marine and Natural Resources. The purpose of the survey was to investigate people’s attitudes towards forestry in Ireland today and how it should be developed in the future.
