We investigate the impact of the organophosphate pesticide chlorpyrifos (CPF) on the metamorphosis of a coral reef fish model, the clownfish Amphiprion ocellaris, focusing on the disruption of thyroid hormone signalling pathways. Accordingly, we performed bulk transcriptomic analysis of whole larvae treated for 5 days (from 8 to 13 days post-hatching) with CPF, with T3+IOP (Triiodo-L-thyronine and iopanoic acid TH pathway activation), or with the goitrogen mix MPI (methimazole, potassium perchlorate, iopanoic acid thyroid hormone pathway blockade), as well as with CPF+T3+IOP (rescued treatment). Control larvae were treated with DMSO. Ten larvae were sequenced for each of the 5 treatment conditions. Sequencing was done on an Illumina NextSeq2000 in paired-end 150 base format, on a P3 Illumina flowcell.

This dataset is associated with the following publicaton: "The multi-level effect of chlorpyrifos during clownfish metamorphosis Mathieu Reynaud, Stefano Vianello, Shu-Hua Lee, Pauline Salis, Melanie Dusseune, Kai Wu, Bruno Frederich, David Lecchini, Laurence Besseau, Natacha Roux, and Vincent Laudet"
