Excitations in a Spin Ladder with Site Defects

We propose to investigate magnetic excitations in a quantum spinladder material with S=0 site defects in (C7D10N)2Cu0.96Zn0.04Br4, Zn substituted DIMPY. The main focus will be a search for and map the impurity states,predicted to occur inside the 0.3 meV spin gap. For this experiment dilution temperatures are requested.
