The Youth CLIMATE Project (Climate emotions, Lifestyle, Identity, Mental health, and Actions for a Thriving Environment) employs a longitudinal design (cohort sequential) to assess the development of climate change-related mental health, pro-environmental behaviors, and emotions across adolescence into young adulthood.
Data of the Youth-CLIMATE study has been financially supported by an incentive grant (joint PI’s Andrik Becht and Anouk Smeekes), and an open call grant from Dynamics of Youth, Utrecht University (joint PI’s Anouk Smeekes and Andrik Becht). The funder had no role in the study design, data collection, and analyses, or the decision to publish. Based on their existing online panels, the fieldwork for this study was carried out by Ipsos I&O.
