Stable isotope records of stalagmite the Rei do Mato stalagmite REI 7-2

This dataset presents a cave paleotemperature reconstruction over the last glacial termination from stalagmite REI 7-2 from Rei do Mato Cave in Minas Gerais State, central-eastern South America (19.50°S, 44.28°W, 800 masl).Sample aliquots of 100 to 200 μg were prepared with a microsampler (Sherline, model 5400) with a sampling resolution of 0.4 mm. Analyses were performed on a Thermo Finnigan Delta Plus Advantage IRMS fitted with a Finnigan Gas-Bench II automatic sample preparation system at the Stable Isotope Laboratory at the Institute of Geoscience of the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Isotope values are reported as δ13Cc and δ18Oc in ‰ relative to VPDB, with standard reproducibility (1σ) better than 0.1 ‰ in both cases. The final isotope profile after the cleanup of erroneous values comprises 933 data points for δ18Oc and 933 for δ13Cc.
