Measurement of the temperature dependence of the muonium emission from silica aerogel using MuSR method

We propose continued study of the muonium emission from silica aerogel using Muonium Spin Rotation (MuSR) following success of the proof-of-principle measurement. This time, we plan to measure temperature dependence of the Mu emission. This will be a good test of the Mu emission model and also allows us to select the best temperature to be used as a low energy muon source for studies such as the muon g-2/EDM.
