This dataset contains the raw data from the validation section of the supplementary material of the paper T. Zirwes, F. Zhang, A. Kronenburg and H. Bockhorn, "Effect of Soret diffusion on thermodiffusively stable flames", Combustion Theory and Modeling (2026), https://doi.org/10.1080/13647830.2026.2666206.
The first archive LaminarFlameSpeeds.tar.gz contains the laminar flame speed (sL in m/s, second column) as a function of equivalence ratio (phi, first column) calculated with Cantera for hydrogen-air flames at atmospheric conditions. Four variations are included: two diffusion models (mixture-averaged and multicomponent model) with Soret diffusion enabled or not.
The second archive Phi6_flameProfiles.tar.gz contains two tables with the profiles of temperature, species mass fractions and velocity for a hydrogen-air flame at atmospheric conditions and an equivalence ratio of phi=6. One table is generated directly with Cantera, while the second was generated with the in-house code EBI-DNS. Both simulations were conducted using the mixture-averaged diffusion model and Soret diffusion enabled.
