SPP 2170 'InterZell': Understanding and Engineering Cell-Cell and Cell-Bioreactor Interactions

DOI

This video introduces the research focus of the DFG Priority Programme SPP 2170 'InterZell'. It presents the programme's interdisciplinary approach to investigating cell–cell and cell–bioreactor interactions and their role in bioprocess engineering.

The programme brings together around 50 researchers in 10 collaborative projects to improve the understanding of interactions within biotechnological production systems. By integrating expertise from biology, biotechnology, engineering, and computational sciences, SPP 2170 'InterZell' aims to provide the scientific foundation for more efficient and sustainable bioprocesses. The programme is coordinated by the University of Stuttgart.
