Merged monthly mean MODIS-AERONET aerosol optical depth data using the ensemble Kalman filter approach (EnKF)

This dataset contains merged monthly mean MODIS-AERONET aerosol optical depth data from January 2002 to December 2016. The method to merge the two datasets is based on the Ensemble Kalman Filter and is described in detail in doi:10.1029/2019JD031884.
