Suppression of long-range weberite-type ordering in high temperature processed Gd3+xNb1-xO7-x (x = 0 and 0.25) synthesised by co-precipitation and direct crystallisation of the melt

Dataset production context: In the present work, In this paper, the cationic ratio within the niobate Gd3NbO7 was studied in order to identify its impact on crystalline stability. The Gd3.25Nb0.75O6.75 and Gd3NbO7 compositions were obtained by an aerodynamic levitation approach and a wet method. The characterizations by X-Ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, luminescence, magnetism and second harmonic generation have shown the suppression of the long-range order of the cation lattice of the Weberite phase.
