Dumux Code for flux-mortar method with mpfa

DOI

This dataset contains the source code for the examples shown in Boon et al. (2022) with the open-source simulator Dumux. The first one investigates the orders of convergence with respect to the mesh size for different element types, as well as the efficiency of the interface preconditioner. The second example simulates a geological case with low permeable layers and a highly conductive fault zone. The third one presents a highly heterogeneous permeability based on the Society of Petroleum Engineers SPE10 benchmark, which illustrates the multiscale capabilities of the method. Finally, in example 4 the subdomain grids are chosen according to the local spatial frequency of the permeability, resulting in a suitable local resolution of the solution. The code can be used, for instance, to reproduce the results published at DaRUS. The dataset furthermore contains a Dockerfile and a prebuilt docker image for convenient reproduction of the results in a containerized environment.
