This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the stimulation of 5 integrated-sensory systems programs amongst preterm infants on developmental outcomes including neurodevelopment, social-emotional development, and temperament; and amongst preterm infants' mothers on anxiety, depression, parenting competency, bonding, and their fathers on mental health.These data were collected in three hospitals (mainly in two) in Kunming, China. The preterm infants following with their parents were allocated in the intervention and control groups randomly. There are 98 infants in the intervention group, and 102 in the control group. The baseline data were collected during enrollment, including demographic information, infants' medical records, and parents' mental health. All participants were followed at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months when the preterm infants reached the correct age, and the data of infants' development, temperament, parents' mental health, maternal parenting competency, and maternal bonding were collected at the corresponding stage.
