In recent time a significant effort has been devoted to Bi-based compounds for being potential candidates of topological insulators. Similarly, a number of investigations also concentrate on finding new topological superconductors. In this quest, we have discovered a novel superconductor CaBi2 with critical temperature Tc = 2.0 K. Remarkably, very recently by means of ARPES study, we have observed the existence of Dirac point in this system. However, until now, no microscopic experiment has been carried out to characterize the superconducting ground state in CaBi2. We, therefore, propose to carry out rigorous µSR study on this sample using the MUSR spectrometer at the ISIS facility.
